What I feel is not
Enough
I search for more
I dig with a shovel of admiration
And desire
Wishing to be absolutely consumed by
Your teasing smile
Your tender eyes
Your gentle hands
Your obnoxiously smart words
What I feel
Overwhelms me
It drowns me and fills my lungs
It sickens me and dulls my other senses
It relishes in my stomach,
Tossing and turning
Throwing infatuation and sweet romance
Around as if it were a hot potato
I wish to know and have more of you
To have no space between us
To stitch together all the words in the world
In hopes of making myself understood
I cannot stop myself
From plowing through
From looking for more
Ways to tell you
That which is impossible to tell
That I love you
Enough
I search for more
I dig with a shovel of admiration
And desire
Wishing to be absolutely consumed by
Your teasing smile
Your tender eyes
Your gentle hands
Your obnoxiously smart words
What I feel
Overwhelms me
It drowns me and fills my lungs
It sickens me and dulls my other senses
It relishes in my stomach,
Tossing and turning
Throwing infatuation and sweet romance
Around as if it were a hot potato
I wish to know and have more of you
To have no space between us
To stitch together all the words in the world
In hopes of making myself understood
I cannot stop myself
From plowing through
From looking for more
Ways to tell you
That which is impossible to tell
That I love you
